This is ALREADY going to be better than the Minecraft movie in 2025 - should that ever be made.

Legend says that Steve is still trying to find the perfect painting
  • What can I say, really? The acting is expressive The dog is adorable The music is spot on The enderman is terrifying The feeling, that unknown vastness, is captured so well This is by far the closest I've ever gotten to reliving my first experience with Minecraft, those first few days in survival, and deserves so much more attention than it has gotten so far.
  • The fact that they don't say a word and only communicate with their bodies and expressions makes this so good. The music is so perfect and also perfectly placed everywhere throughout and everything feels really high quality. Mojang should seriously hire you guys One of the few times I'm happy with YouTube recommendations Well done!!

This was insanely well done and the appearance of Enderman was truly frighting the way you build up a tension, nice!
  • That soundtrack at the end was soooo goood! The way you mixed the Nether theme with the End theme and had the mob sfx too. That was cool
  • This was like playing Minecraft for the first time; you captured that sense of wonder and comfort and danger as well. I loved every second of it. Steve and Alex were both wonderful, the score was amazing and the special effects were incredible. I hope this project gets the attention it deserves. It's absolutely phenomenal what you've made here.
  • This is incredible. It captures the spirit of Minecraft so well. I also love how Steve and Alex are characterized; they are so curious and excited for adventure to a reckless extent, which is so true to how they would be irl.

This man just proved that a live-action Minecraft movie can TOTALLY work! Awesome!
  • Favorite part of Steve accidentally teleporting in front of Alex, I thought it's gonna be a love story!

I love the attention to detail, with the creeper looking like a bush like originaly intended, and the crafting book being in enchanment table font.
  • We definitely need a Sequel of this masterpiece.loved it ❤

This has that Early 2000 movie charm and I am here for it let’s go
  • @xcruell
Wow honestly i really like it! I love your attention to details and all that. Even that you made e.g. the shield so close to the game and as a real prop, instead of just some painted cardboard. 10/10, want part 2!

This is amazing. Even the detail from 3D model mobs, to the players communicating with just their bodies like the original, involving the custom and soothing Minecraft remixes, this should win the best Oscar award for the best Minecraft fan film ever!

As someone in the video production field from Ohio, I can confirm this is easily some of the best work I have ever seen on a local level, seriously. Whoever did the compositing side of things is also absolutely fantastic and i'd love to learn from them personally. All I can say is every single person involved should be so, so proud of themselves for what this is.
