  • When dismounting, stepping out of the stirrup onto to the ground can be extremely dangerous - foot can get caught, horse can move etc. After bringing right leg over, lean over the saddle, release left foot from stirrup then, holding horn and back of saddle slide off the horse.

  • We are going on a family holiday from the UK to California to do some trail riding. The riding style is so different from what I'm used to! The reins are so slack and your stirrups are so long. I think I'm going to have to just relax in the saddle and leave my jodhpurs at home πŸ˜† Thank you for the lovely video. It looks beautiful there x

    I am going for a vacation for 2 weeks and i haven't rode since age 10, 30 and 35 and now i'm terrified to do that because my woman wants to ride and i don't. I think i don't have it in me anymore. I think to me is best to connect with the horse when we arrive to the location. Greetings from Finland. Great video!
