The womanizer who falls in love with the onlu girl who rejects him. Wow. Never saw this coming. I'm truly shocked.

It’s already so predictable: Girl isn’t attracted to prince that every girl loves. Boy wonders why. Boy hangs with girl. Girl and boy fall in love. Girl and boy end up together at the end. If this isn’t the movie in a nutshell, then idk what is🤷‍♀️

"No woman that gazes into his eyes will be able to resist his smile" Except this one chick who is totally able to look him in the eyes and not fall head over heals for him

Missed opportunity: the curse says no woman can resist him, so imagine Charming going to a bar or walking around or smth and a girl bumps into him and he's weirded out by the fact that she didn't fall for his charms. Somehow, they get roped in a mission or quest or whatever bc the girl is a spy or something- now plot twist: the girl is actually a guy in disguise. If they kept this a secret from the trailer, do you know how much they would've genuinely surprised people? Like, Charming falls for the guy and somewhere in the 3rd quarter of the movie, we learn abt the spy stuff. Charming is conflicted, because it's a guy but his feelings don't go away. He learns that he actually likes the fact that someone else likes him for who he is and goes back to the guy. The confession from the spy could've been so emotionally moving because 'You like the thought of me, not the actual me' sort of dialogue; he likes Charming despite his arrogance and big dick vibe because they've had a heart to heart and actually learned about who he is. I haven't seen the movie, or maybe I have, but it goes to show how forgettable it is bc of the fact that I'm not sure. It would've been so much more interesting to see the synopsis above than something that feels recycled. If they played it right with the trailer and the subtle hints that the girl is actually a dude in disguise, they could've had a completely different and more or less new concept to introduce to the world.
