Thornclaw, near the beginning of Warriors: Appears to be and is described as very loyal. Helps keep Squirrelpaw in line while Brambleclaw struggles. Thornclaw in the last series: finally mentioned again. But he joins the Dark Forest. Or doesn't?? Ivypool sees him there at one point, but in the last book, when the living ThunderClan cats training there are listed, he is not one of them. Nonetheless, Thornclaw will always have an edgy name and evil connotation when in fact he's just a cool dude. (gently correct me if i made any incorrect points please)
