Everyone here on YT loves your content, regardless of place. Don’t worry about it. You’re a great storyteller so just focus on givin it the berries! YUH!!
-
"I might as well be the elite of being mediocre" Brilliant! I have been out of racing for years. I was never any good, but I miss it a ton. This made me smile. Thanks man. I love your channel and your approach to the videos. Serious racing with a healthy slice of humility, self-reflection, and reality. Love it. Thanks for all you do!
-
When you checked the pip-boy, I laughed a lot. The multi-discipline content is awesome, keep it up!

I met Tyler Sun afternoon at the Sea Otter...hands down one of the nicest guys you could ever met. Super genuine and talked to me and my friend as if he'd known us for years. You're awesome Tyler!
-
Yeah Tyler, I’ve been racing road, gravel, and XC mtb stuff for a while now, and I also consider a year lost without a triathlon, a fast road 10k, and a long trail running event or two. Never find myself further up than mid pack and that’s just fine. Do it all, love it all. Thats the best way to live and truly have fun in these sports. Totally agree bro. You’re the man, and an inspiration.
-
Dude, you waste too much time worrying about what other people think. I’ve been watching you for years and it seems like you’re getting better at not expressing it so much but yeh, just be you.
-
This is at least the 4th or 5th time I’ve watched this video. I love it and I also love all the bikes. At 52 and unfit I’m not going to podium, but I love the race atmosphere and challenging myself. Not looking for the win, but a PR makes my day.
-
If I'd rank what I get out of watch your content, it'd be: 3 - bikes. 2 - great storytelling. 1 - your openness, telling it like it is, both the good and the bad, in a light hearted, non-toxic way. Great stuff as always! Please make more!
-
Did anyone else do every race that you did? Because I kinda feel like even though you didn’t win any ‘stage’ you won your own multi event race…
-
I absolutely love your storytelling, HAIRY BALLS!!
-
This is one of your best videos with a great message. I definitely feel in that mid-pack kind of level too. Thanks for making!
-
I don't often comment on youtube but I gotta say here. You have a remarkable attitude and did fantastic! You could be stuck in a dead ass job, but are doing what you love, and we all get to share in that. Thanks, and you would win the bicycle pentathlon! As a ex racer I always try to remember, have fun, because after all were just riding around in circles.
-
I’m only part way through the road race, but this video has had me absolutely rolling. Thanks Tyler
-
Would be cool to have more team content. Feel like I have no clue who is on the team!
-
Dude, Your positivity is through the roof. Love it!
-
Great content, can't wait to see more XC videos. Keep up the good work!
-
This has been a major reason why I have never started filming cycling for youtube. I like to ride all bikes and I always heard people say to find your niche before going on to YouTube. Every time I started getting the stuff together to film, I would just quit because I was worried I wouldn't be niche enough. But this video gives me a lot of hope. Thanks for that.

Varity is the spice of life, do everything!!! Aloha 🤙
-
Awesome video, really enjoyed it. Don't stress too much about the results, just enjoy what you do
-
Great content and editing, awesome to see you be competitive in all disciplines!
