I'm a Kashmiri and we don't add sugar, dryfruits and elaichi and all in it. We just add namkeen chai/ green tea, baking soda into water and boil it until it gets the maroonish colour. Then we add this kaadha (we call this mixture kaadha) into milk and add salt to it. To make it more tasty we add little butter and mallai. No offence. I really love your videos and you are one of my favourites. Much love. From Kashmir.

I tried this just now and it turned out awesome.. made it from tapal jasmine green tea bcos mere pass wahi thi but still itni yummy bani bilkul jesi shadio may hoti hai and pehli baar pink color bhi aagaya. Main pehle jab banati thi to sab aik sath daal deti thi, soda bhi dalne se pink nahi hoti thi but JZK .. ab trick pata lagi k kawa alag banana hai and doodh alag banana hai. Thank you so much for this recipe.
