13th Century Teutonic Knight Armor

This is my armor kit based on what a Teutonic Knight may have looked like during the year 1300. Recent additions include tailored sleeves, maille chausses, padded hose, arming girdle, wool mantle, and a closed gambeson. I still have a couple improvements to make but I think as a whole it looks good for the time being. Comment, subscribe, and thanks for watching!

ATTENTION I'm quite aware that the lack of period foot coverings inside leather boots is an issue. I need to make woolen hosen with the feet covered to correct this. I didn't have the time to make them for this video as it was made in a bit of a rush so for the next one I'll have this mistake corrected. Thanks!

I’m quite into Teutonic Knights since 1999, when age of empires 2 put them as the human unit with the highest damage power. “That’s sick! Let’s find out what a Teutonic knight is” I thought at the time.

Very cool video to see 13th Century Teutonic armor. My family is from the Baltics where a lot of castles (mostly in ruins) were built by these knights. Great choice of music! I have a similar knights templar cape with a red cross and red inside lining.

Very cool!! I started tracing my ancestry back in my father's family, and found that we have a couple of ancestors that were Teutonic Knights. I need to learn more about them.
