Which Disney Character would you want in a platform fighter?

Screw it, PBS fighting game. Give me the Wild Krat brothers vs The Cat in the Hat vs Arthur vs Cyberchase. Edit: I'm annoyed somewhat this is the top comment and not anything relating to the Disney discussion. Either way only part I disagreed with was having characters like Mickey only have one variation (Mario has himself and Dr. Mario, Link has 3 versions). I think Mickey is a character who could atleast get 2.

I’m gonna be that nerd, and say the lamp’s name is Luxo Jr. But yeah, a Disney platform fighter would be great. They’ve really dragged their feet on doing this. Probably because they’re worried about the brand or some nonsense.

One more comment I wanted to make, I think the lack of cohesion in MultiVersus is actually a strength of the game. I mean, having Jason Voorhees, Batman, Bugs Bunny and Ultra Instinct Shaggy in the Game of Thrones throne room is the most insane thing, and I absolutely love it.

A gravity falls character would have a ton of potential too, someone like either gruncle Stan or Bill Cipher would be awesome

I wish you added Scar or another villain. I think a animal fighter can be a interesting choice. Maybe Scar can summon his hyena as a final smash kinda like the yoshi stampede. He could also throw bones .

For the Pixar lamp, I think there could be a down attack move where the lamp repeatedly jumps on the enemies head, just like how it jumps on the I at the beginning of every movie

Funny thing is, they were close to making a fighting game with Square Enix. However, Disney said no, because they didn't want the Disney characters beating each other up. So Square Enix still took the concept but used their Final Fantasy characters. Thats how Final Fantasy Dissidia came to be.

This is a solid lineup, but I have some ideas for more. I’ll start with just 5. Rapunzel: bit of a no brainer. She can use her hair like a whip like Simon and Richter, but also as a healing move to reduce knockback. A bit speedy but not floaty. (Stage would be the Tower or the Kingdom Castle) Bill Cipher: now THIS is my favorite idea. He can distort reality, create weirdness bubbles that cause a random effect, shoot lasers. Anything’s possible with this guy. (Stage is the Fear-ramid from Weirdmaggedon). Figment: I’ll be honest, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of theme park representation. He can be similar to Stitch in terms of being cartoony, but not over the top. Think SpongeBob in NASB. (Stage is Journey into Imagination. Like the ride) Remy and Linguine: I know this breaks the rule of 1 per franchise, but the idea is solid. You could either do a Duck Hunt and have them work in tandem, or a Pyra/Mythra deal of swapping between them. Remy would control Linguine and be slow/strong, while Linguine alone would be fast/light. (Stage is Gusteau’s kitchen) The Three Caballeros: Donald may not be in, but this is an obscure pick that works better. Basically Pokemon Trainer with varied stats. Panchito has better speed, Donald better attack, Jose Carioca is middle ground. (Stage would be based on Legends of the Three Caballeros. Solid show. Look it up for more lore) That’s all I have for now. If you guys want more, just reply and ask. I’ve got nothing to do and a lot to say.

I like the roster you made. I'd personally swap Jake out for Aladdin though. Avatar is a big franchise but i don't think it rings disney enough for me, I personally want more 2D animated characters, and out of the ones left I think Aladdin would fight well
