Oh my god this mv really made me cry. The child portraying ashley, the adult portraying halsey but also the role brittany played for ash as a kid, the way ash made up halsey to be less alone (swinging on the set together), the way there is only halsey now, and ashley has disappeared (halsey alone on the swing set), also the angry men in your house transforming from your father into your partner. Oh the layers!! AMAZING

halsey has overcame so much in her short time spent here on earth already. you can tell the lyrics “She's so lucky, she's a star But she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart, thinking If there's nothing missing in my life Then why do these tears come at night?” meant so freakin much to her. that’s why she asked the producers or whoever owns the rights to the song if she can sample it.
