A man returns...
-
Joey saying: “is DKOldies a scam? No.” Is like Bruce Wayne saying: “Am I Batman? No.”
-
Always makes me laugh that your dad looks younger than you. He must have lived a better life mostly DK Oldies free.
-
I am so glad I built my retro game collection back in 2007. Its like the F'n wild west trying to even get a working retro console nowadays. Prices are through the roof now too.
-
Rich single handedly keeping DK Oldies afloat while exposing them as frauds. Playing both sides and reaping all the rewards. Absolute madman
-
And to think I nearly bought a refurbished 3DS from them.......thanks to people like you and Jacob R I didn't waste my money on them.
-
I actually had to deliver a package from DKOldies this past week. I felt bad for the customer, knowing he likely got scammed.
-
Rich: "DON'T BUY THINGS FROM DKOLDIES!!" Also Rich: (Buys more things from DKoldies)
-
They probably got it in a somewhat clean state. The fact that they still haven't refurbished it makes it just as inexcusable as before.
-
Why does his dad look younger than him.
-
Our local used game store doesn't promise refurbished, but whenever we have any issues they always help us! We don't have any issues but once with an NES game being a bit dirty, but they cleaned it no problem. It's sad that DK Oldies can't hold up to their promises.

The things on the ends of that beefy HDMI cable are black ferrite cores. They reduce electrical noise on the line. It's for when you hear things like buzzing, white noise, etc. because your system has poor shielding. HDMI typically doesn't have those problems though so they're more for like a 3.5mm audio cable which is highly susceptible to noise, USB cables & your actual power cords.

Rich's father is amazing !! We need way more episodes of him !!!
-
If DK Oldies and places like them do not refurbish the consoles, then I love to hear actual suggestions on exactly what reputable dealers to go through.
-
Glad to see you're up and making new videos. I have a daughter as well so when I saw what you were going through with your daughter it literally brought me to tears! Praying hard for your daughter to have a speedy recovery! I think you handled that horrible situation as good as possible. Major props to you for still being able to make some content while going through that! Love your content, Rich! Hang in there, buddy!

I bought a perfectly decent clear green N64 from my local charity shop, with 12 games, for £2. Admittedly, they had no idea what it was so they just basically got rid of it, but £2 isn't bad. I sold it a year later for £5 because I never used it. Probably should have asked for more money.

Your dad is the epitome of what a REAL MAN is supposed to be. Talking from the perspective of a guy who never met his dad, you are immensely blessed.
-
Rich tomorrow: Joey and Jay are getting married. Let’s talk about it
-
I haven't seen it brought up yet, but the amount you paid vs the first one you showed is that you had the "Substitute 2 Original Controllers" and the "Add an AV to HDMI Pak" that's why it's more expensive. so before the sale it was $189 + $60 + $25 = ~$280. Not Defending DK Oldies because that's still an outrageous price just thought I might correct you on that.

Rich is a huge contributor to making retro gaming more affordable
