From a season ticket holder - this stadium would be hugely improved if they sorted out the basic things. It doesn't need a massive revamp, it needs the roofing fixed so it doesn't leak onto the supporters. The card machines need to be reliable so people can actually buy food and drink when they're not taking cash. It needs, and I can't believe I'm saying this in 2022 - WIFI! There is NO signal in the entire stadium. If you got regularly and experience these issues, you are left thinking why is a huge revamp being talked about when just the basic necessities that half of league 1 stadiums have aren't in place at OT.

What the glazers should do is sell the club to someone who actually will spend money and care about the club
  • Unfortunately, owners that we have, have totally ruined the reputation and legacy of this great club... This stadium was such a fortress for us, where dreams used to come through.. No matter if we should build a new stadium, it'd still be old as long as the Glazer's are still running it... We can only have a rebuilt by getting rid of the head..
  • Renovate! It's Old Trafford! You wanna move stadiums so you can have beer come up through your cup? The ground needs renovating and updating for sure. But that ground is special, make it work without tearing it down.

If it comes to it and they decide to build a new stadium I expect 100,000 seats,a large family area and overall for the stadium to look nice made out of quality material like red brick.

Do what Real Madrid done to theirs upgrade but don’t demolish it.

NO! OLD TRAFFORD IS BLOODY ICONIC! JUST CLEAN THE WHOLE PLACE UP!
  • @Ssjs998
Gotta keep that iconic exterior… New stadiums look amazing but feel sterile, just fix the stadium, increase the capacity and we move

I think it would be pretty sick if they expanded the stand over the railway line and put a station inside the stadium, and have it so you scan you match or season ticket to get straight through

Great video, i'm a United fan from The Netherlands and it's nice to get a few of the stadium from this point of view. I can understand the struggles. Thank you BBC Sport

    Wow! Juventus’ stadium looked awesome!

I’d love for us to have a new stadium or improve on OT but if we do it shows the glazers won’t be selling any time soon. Hopefully Jim Ratcliffe makes a did for us and they accept Glazers Out!

Aviva Stadium, originally Lansdowne Road, in Dublin had a very busy rail line running under the west stand. Rebuilt with minimal effect on the line.

The old Trafford on of the most iconic stadium in the world. Just dreaming to be there once in my life so that i can die peacefully.
  • I'm a Liverpool fan and Old Trafford is a proper old school ground, the name is famous throughout the World.who cares about comfy seats and nice food and beer..it just needs a bit of work doing on it that's all..I'm so glad we redeveloped Anfield..it's were my Grandad went in the 1920s till he died,it's were my dad went in the 40s up till he stopped going..it's were I been going since the late 70s to the present day,it's were my lads have been going since the late 90s..the old pubs like the Flat Iron,The Park,The Arkles,The King Harry and the Sandon..the whole area is a part of history and you should always keep it sacred.

We do need a brand new stadium. If you consistently visit you'll realise how cramped the seating is and how poor the facilities are. Build it on the same footprint.

As a spurs fan a new united stadium would be amazing. I see restriction with space but that’s not a problem. If you buy the land on the other side if the railway tracks then incorporate a train station into the new stadium. That’s how it should be done

Old Trafford should be the biggest stadium in England. Just add one more layer
