Whatever the Blackstar glider thing is i can tell you i had a Spiderman one of the same line in the early 80s. It came with a rubber band catapult and the idea was you folded the wings back and shot it straight up like a missile. Through some mechanism the wings released as it slowed at the top of it's trajectory and it glided to earth. Very cool but very fragile. I left it out in the rain once and it was ruined.
