Lol, to receive combat pay and awards for being in a combat zone, one only needs to be within 50 nautical miles of said combat zone for 30 days. A private working as a cook in the rear area who never fires a shot even though they carry their assigned weapon, is awarded a combat patch and associated awards for being in that combat zone. Shots do not need to be fired from said person.

How many of these haters spent more than 1(ONE) enlistment which is usually 6 years but only 2 to 4 years active and the rest in reserve time. Also do they ever state the actual percentage of military members in combat.
