Full interview: Mahathir talks about China and Malaysian politics

In an exclusive interview with the South China Morning Post, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad talks extensively about his stance when it comes to China. He had previously criticised former prime minister Najib Razak for "selling off" Malaysia to Beijing.

Mahathir also talks about Malaysian politics, and the suggestion that his Pakatan Harapan coalition could be vulnerable when it comes to the Malay vote.

    Well it took 3 interviewer, to interview our national treasure, Which happen to be 92 years old. But he spoke like a 29 yr, but with the wisdom of a 92,

    Tun seems to be more rested and his speech is so clear and precise. Compared to the 1st three weeks after the election result, he is back to pre election composure.

    When he visited Perodua while they were completing their very first Kancils, he asked "can this car bring four adults to Genting Highlands?" When reporters asked him, upon completion of the Petronas twin towers, "what about (another soon-to-be-completed taller building)? Will it not be taller than the twin towers?" He answered "they have one, we have two" And here he shows yet again how well he can break down complicated issues into simple, bite-sized info!
