I Got My First Back Procedure…

Hey Matt, glad to see you're finally getting the procedure done and hope it's something that will help in the long run! Prayin for you man! Stay positive and keep lookin forward!

I had this procedure done and it lasted me 5 years. The pain did come back but it never came back bad enough to the point where I needed it again or even close to what it was before the procedure. I was able to use the 6 month period to work on my back strength and get it to the point where it was finally strong again and using it enough to where it is not going to be as bad of a problem anymore. I hope this went well for you and continues to go well. Wish you a speedy recovery man.

Hey Matt, been following the journey and just wanted to share my anesthesia story. They put me under for my wisdom teeth, and told my parents that I would be out for about an hour afterwards and left me in the room to sleep. I woke up after about 30 minutes and had the thought "my dad is probably so bored right now, I should bring him my iPod". So I stumbled out of the room, and knocked over every painting on my way to the lobby as I was bouncing off the walls. I finally got to the end and there was a left and right door. I chose the right door and ended up in the lobby where a bunch of people, including my parents, were waiting. Some waiting on their kids to wake up, some waiting for their surgeries to begin. I held my iPod above my had and exclaimed "dad, I brought you an iPod" and proceeded to faceplant on the floor in front of everyone. For the rest of the day I was speaking in a southern accent too! So you're not alone in your anesthesia experience. I wish you guys the best of luck and I am praying for your speedy recovery! <3

Dang man I am glad the procedure went well and glad to see that you are able to move better then before. Also it’s awesome to see how supportive Maddie is. It’s always great to have that support system.

Hope You Get better Matt! Back problems arnt fun. (My dad had to go through it. If it helps i just wanted to let you know that i have been watching gm_golf since road to 70k. I found out about your channel and i have been in love with golf ever since. You have encouraged me to play golf and i love how even when your going through a hard time u make the best of the situation. Hope u get better!
