Coping with out my care giver for 10 days! Last week shaun jetting off for the other side of the world, while DB and me stayed behind. As a full time wheelchair user and mum, it was quite hard and very tiring being on my own for 10 days.

Dont forget to tell my your favourite Disney vloggers. I'm glad to have Shaun back, it was very tiring without him.
  • Daisy has grown up in to such a kind, sweet, and chill person 💜. You and Sean have done a phenomenal job parenting!
  • @redsorgum
Awesome job helping mom out, Daisy....✌️👏👏👏👏🇺🇸🇬🇧

A couple of tips that might be useful for some people: 1. If you're disabled, you can get the binmen to collect and return your wheely bin to say outside the front door - there should be a form on your local council website (usually district or borough level). 2. Halfords do a tyre change at home service: book a slot and they'll come to you with the equipment and tyres. It takes about 10 minutes and they just need enough room to get to the tyres.

That feeling when you're picking someone up or dropping someone off and you're panicking that there'll be no free disabled parking bays. So glad there was one for you Gem.
  • We(my lovely wife and I) are fortunate enough to have a second home about 160 miles apart so one of us—almost weekly—goes for a couple days. I think it is very good for our relationship to be apart once in a while. It makes me appreciate her even more...
  • Hello Gem. I know you missed Sean but it is good you had Daisy with you. It's nice to see you going out and about. I don't get out much because of my Intestines. I have been so badly let down by surgeons.

Use some t-cut for the scratches will come right out as for blogger I’d say Kyle Pallo and great having daisy as a solo wheelchair user without a carer it’s not easy but love the vlogs

DB is such an awesome young person, helping you so much. My daughter is really good about helping me too ❤
  • @johnbethea4505
I bet that you really missed your hubby so much..But, your daughter is always great..

I love your videos. They are very helpful. Daisy is a lovely young lady helping her Mum. Take care.

Be careful reaching behind front seats! That is a great way to injure rotator cuff (you know that). Just mentioning for other viewers. (people who retrieve purse in back seat while in front!)

My daughter is called Daisy too. She is not my poo pickerupper though. She is grown up and doesn't live with me anymore. I have to clean up my own mistakes lol. I just found your channel and you're my new favourite youtuber BTW.

It was nice to see how you got your chair into your car on the way to Heathrow. I'm in the middle of the process of getting my first chair. I'm ambulatory, and because I'm in mid-town Toronto, don't have a car.  But when I eventually move to the UK I will have one, or at least do car share. While I could usually just pop it in the boot or back then walk around, there's some days where that wouldn't be a good idea. (EDS + dysautonomia). I'm getting a rigid frame chair ("type" 4 here in Ontario, Canada), with low back. The robot vac looks like an awesome idea! BTW Do you know Izzy Wheels in Ireland? They have licensed Disney wheelchair wheel covers. You can also design your own and they'll print them!

Glad it's not just me who lets out a big sigh after getting all my gear in the car and get myself settled.

Great videos I was surprised that you didn't call this video coping for 10 days without your husband a great small look into your life :-) your relationship with your family is very sweet. I enjoyed watching you and Daisy working together.

I can highly recommend supermarkets that offer click and collect Tesco/Sainsbury’s click and collect service was my lifeline during lockdowns and for the winter flu/virus season.
