The 2024 Genesis GV70 may have a cheaper starting price than many of its rivals, but that doesn't mean it's a lesser vehicle. This compact SUV outperforms the Audi Q5 and BMW X3 in the luxury department, and it outperforms the Mercedes-Benz GLC-class and the Volvo XC60 in terms of road manners and ride quality. While those competitors outrank Genesis when it comes to brand recognition, the GV70 more than holds its own in the luxury segment thanks to its stylish exterior and extensive collection of convenience and technological options. All-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission are included, along with either a turbocharged four-cylinder or a more potent twin-turbo V-6. We put a V-6-powered GV70 through a 40,000-mile long-term test and had nearly nothing but good things to say about it.
