I would have loved to have seen Flo's design come to life!

Many bruises ahead from those tiles on top of the water feature. Loquats are tropical. An orange or mandarin would be more Mediterranean. The Aroha sign is lost on that drab fence. I would have started with painting the fence white, to copy the house walls in the Mediterranean.

Cringe at the finishes... liner showing on the water feature, seat cushion not done well at the corners, lovely tiles, but not durable, the paint job on the panels has white showing. They paid 4000! I am happy that thy got the color they wanted and the plant selection was fabulous! I am beginning to see why Charlie might be stepping back on some of these. Quality control folks! Better less glitz done well! Thank you for posting!

not my favourite design .. what a difficult day for the ground team though .. the tiles look like they would be slippery when wet and show any mud/dirt and the gravel will get on them .. and the edges of the pond liner/tiles was very messy .. his bench didnt look very sturdy either lol .. bless

Great transformation n beautiful too. Good team work
  • First time that I wonder how long this will look crisp and nice....those tiles...dropping a tool or something will result in cracking or breaking...slippery when wet and just doesn't look well thought through...just my opinion...would have loved to see the other design executed🎉

A nice garden keeps dedication. That's how it is. Relaxing only doesn't work.

I have to say the tiles they used look absolutely NOTHING like the tiles in the plan the couple chose! The orange paint on the screens is astonishingly badly done. The tiles over hanging the sides of the water feature are going to gouge legs and eventually break when people sit on them. What is with the bench, that isn't going to last long! The cushion on the top looks awful. This garden was a waste of money with such poor craftmanship and those really unfortunate tiles. Why on earth would they remove solid paving and put gravel in instead?. Stuff that you can't walk on barefoot, stuff that will track and get ON the tiles where it will make people skid and slide on across the tiles. Those orange screens only make the space even smaller and provide NOTHING of use. If they wanted to use the pattern why aren't they mounted directly to the fence instead of taking up precious ground?

somehow hard to watch this time. claustrophobic due to those screens, water feature top dangerous for you shins due to sharp tiles, thin tiles prone to breaking, finish far from perfect (borders, water feature liner). I usually like Chris, but this one is a flop for me, he seemed lost.
