The gaming industry and including pc/steam like rushing technology because of financial reasons. The more less lifespan of consoles, the less difference it makes,. Every generation of consoles is getting less games because of cost, game development length, developer/staff lay offs.

There has hardly been any ground breaking games on the PS5, wish I new this earlier, I would of kept my PS4.... PS6 - Forget it..

Ps6: backwards compatibility for all ps1-ps5 games. There I just gave Sony a reason to add another $100 to MSRP and still sell a shit ton of consoles.

Allow the gaming systems some time to develop before jumping to another edition or series 🤷. I'm still on the PS2 and PS3 versions; as a matter of fact, I'm still on the early Super NES and Sega Genesis era 🤷.
