I personally would love a pacific, I don’t care much about the carriers, would be nice but I much prefer dogfighting in a wildcat or zero, dive bombing in an SBD or a D3A, and bombing in a G4M or B25 or maybe even the B34. A later war pacific would be also nice, hellcats, Corsair’s, more zeros. I mean the pacific theater is probably the only thing keeping il2 1946 alive and heavy bombers.

I would chew my arm off to get a flyable B-25 or B-26. It’s getting crazy that the allies have no effective level bombers with adequate defensive armament.

IL2 COD needs some serious updates to bring it up to scratch it could be a masterpiece if it was fixed, but in it's present state it feels unfinished & leaves a lot to be desired.

Without Mr Jason this simulator is finished ,THINGS ARE NOT GOING TO BE SAME ,we already can see it,time to move on to DCS...THIS IS THE FUTURE...

The game flat out gets boring fast. The graphics are the best. However It usually takes an entire ammunition load out to shoot down an enemy plane. Ground attack bombing is better than air to air combat, I am big on that. I still play 1946, a Pacific theater would be well received.
