  • Why? How? Lack of ego inside the team. Watch them play and you see each of them cheering each other on constantly. They both respect each other. Both are each others biggest supporter.
  • It’s still funny when Luka puts his hands up to his face in amazement every time Kyrie does something spectacular.
  • @CEUprimate
I remember a year ago the casuals would always say 'Kyrie and Luka wont work. Two ball dominant players' and 'Gobert and Towns won't work, two centers blah blah blah'. Now look at their teams; now both in the second round while Lakers, GSW, and SUNS are nowwhere.

People seem to forget that the Mavs missed the Playoffs on purpose last year. They tanked to keep the pick that turned into Derrick Lively.
  • @mrkn2ny
Kawhi's laugh will never get old. 😂
  • Is it just me or does Luka always put both hands on his head every time Kyrie does one of his crazy shots?
  • @bakkaslon
Luka is such a nice chill kid and I see how Kyrie who didn't grow up in the USA likes his character.
  • THe reason why Dallas has had any success at all is because Kyrie and Luca are both HUSTLING on defense. They aren't great defenders, maybe not even 'good' defenders - but the hustle is huge. When they do lose to OKC or the TWolves in the WCF that same hustle is going to attract a lot of other players who will want to join them for a true title run next year :)
  • @DonKey496
Mavs vs Heat example was regular season game tho... Obviously, fans are gonna be louder in the playoffs.
  • @gb1style
Kobe & Shaq were alpha’s coexisting
  • The last time we saw 2 of the best iso players in the league on the same team? Currently... KD is one of the best of all time and Booker has casually dropped 70. The difference is Luka and Uncle Drew are playing like teammates, not like they're on islands by themselves.
  • luka never gave a damn about hierarchy in the org is honestly the underrated part about him lol bro genuinely just wants to hoop and you can see how much he respects kai on and off the court
  • @try44
People need to appreciate the level of maturity this team has. It may be the first team where everyone accepts theur roles without hiding resentments for eachother. This is about winning, not being the star. Plus Lukas defense. I mean it's hard to believe this is the same Luka

I would say that Dallas fans knows their team best and that was why everybody was cheering loudly because we noticed that Kyrie was about to go on a crazy run like he always does. We knew his switch was flipped up and ready to hoop like he always does. Made sure to give him that same energy back. We’ve made comebacks before and did crazier things.

The hustle of the mavs is amazing!! Especially luka and kyrie like they exist on defence and they are willing to do it well. This is what they need they might be able to make it to wcf.
  • The narrative on Kyrie has always been over blown. Mainly because he left LeBron.
  • The greatest experiment was coach pop bringing in two europeans in the early 00’s to form a core with Duncan. Resulting in 4 championships (I know Manu is South American and was drafted in 1999, but he started playing for the Spurs in ‘02 from the euro leagues)
  • James harden and Chris Paul are still the best experiment. Two ball dominant guards lead their team to the best record in franchise history and harden wins mvp
  • A nuance that so many people miss is how elite kyrie is as an off ball and spot up player. He doesnt need the ball in his hands to be effective. Thats why (in a basketball sense) he worked with bron, kd/harden, and luka.
