My only regret was that I didn't watch this sooner; again this video was sitting on my Watch Later list. This is some fine editing and educational just like in Part 1. Again, I learned a few new information about Super Paper Mario I didn't realize. I have already knew much about the characters and their backstory, but any megit of info is always good. The game's lore is just so captivating, any topic related to Paper Mario always make my mind wonder to Super's. You'll never find nor Nintendo will ever make a Mario game quite like this one. It's been over a year and I hope your college experience gave you some newfound growth as a person, since this was also partially base on your personal life.

really loved this video and part 1! this game is soooo underrated/over hated and i love it so much so it was great just to hear multiple hours of good critique and analysis. I really hope your channel not doing big numbers yet doesnt discourage you from continuing to make high quality high effort videos! if i could add my 2 cents, while the game definitely has love as it's central theme i think a big one also is identity. Mr L forgetting his real life as Luigi, Blumiere and Timpani becoming strangers to themselves after losing each other, Luvbi not being the person she thought she was, the fact that Mimi sometimes forgets who she is when shapeshifting, how Nastasia used to be a bat before taking on the form of her love (Bleck), how Dimentio is always wearing a mask and we know literally nothing about his past, Squirp's secret identity as a prince, etc etc. I think there’s something in SPM about the ways that love affect people right down to their very sense of self, and how losing love means losing who you are as a person.

  • Intelligent Systems never had a good sense of direction with Paper Mario at all. No wonder less than 1% of people like this game's story.
