  • @BillCipher1337
in my opinion its one or the most beautiful car BMW ever build
  • @SicSemperBeats
people didn't like the e60? This is literally one of the best looking BMW bodies of all time imo. It had s2000 levels of forward thinking style. It DID NOT look like a 2004 car at all when new
  • Hmm..For me the E60 design is modern and looks good even today. Prefer the facelift exterior & in M-packet it is still a really nice car.
  • @Peacetoself
the design of the E60 was ahead of its time. Arguably the best looking 5 series ever made
  • I am a journeyman auto mechanic and my personal vehicle is a 545i. The v8 is very nice but it does come with its problems: Oil leaks, coolant leaks, oil burning though the valve stem seals, etc. The good news is if you are relatively handy, these repairs can be done at home with a moderate amount of skill level. Also, online resources are available and very helpful. I could never afford to own this car if I had to pay someone to do the repairs for me, so bear that in mind when looking to purchase. The v8 engine in these is smooth as silk and will put a smile on your face when working properly.

A friend of mine is on the look out for a 530d estate at this time and all of the information needed for when we go looking for one is contained in this video. You have saved us so much time trawling through the internet for the answers with this 10 minute video and I want to thank you very much for that.
  • I personally own one myself the 520i from 2004 with the m54 engine since brand new. Very reliable car and no major problems whatsoever other then regular maintenance. Very sporty and yet comfortable to drive.
  • Your absolutely right on about those e60 61 I have a e61 and most of what you say is correct I do my own repairs and the maintenance is key. This car is pleasure to drive and really not that costly. Swore I’d never buy another BMW but bought a z4 coupe e86 what a treat.
  • @WsSCaTaLYn
you mentions all problems, nice job, and about design for me its most beautiful bmw ever
  • @doose911
I have a 2006 BMW E60 530i, it has been very reliable and I have a 171000 miles on this car. It's my daily driver. However I plan on doing maintenance on things that are bound to go eventually. Water pump, hoses, belt. Of course, can't leave out the seal for the valve cover! Oil is starting to seep out of the engine. Which I know is typical for these model cars.
  • @TiMoseb
e60 530i with M-Package built 2008, bought one last year. The guy who owned the car before me had to change a lot of parts, the most expensive would be changing all injectors. But oh man I'm in love with this car. Every time I get in, it just feels so good. Like every day and I have it for half a year now. They say money can't buy happiness but it can buy you a 530i and you can be sure, this car makes a man happy for a very good price.
  • @lowridr2
this is a milestone in a sport sedans a classic
  • @MandusahRamirez
I’m an Certified Automotive Technician who owns a 09 535i and it is a pain when things go wrong they go at the same time but after their fixed it’s a Solid Reliable & Fun Car!
  • @davidreid7922
Ive a 2004 e60 530d and its going well. I recently changed the transmission fluid myself and it was easy enough saving a few hundred euro ! Because of the build quality and the good weather here in Spain i think my car still looks like new !!
  • @rivolinho
E60 is a stunning timeless design. When you see a mint one on the road today it turns more heads than any 2021 model car. * I dont own one but am in the market
  • @stixnfeet7818
Picked up an 07 530i with 142k for $6,500 year n half ago, Black on black and fully loaded, driven it 16,000 miles and not a single issue. Fantastic row car and my first BMW. Solid 30 mpg on the highway. Live in mountains of western North Carolina and I’ve never driven a car that hugs the corner so tight. Hard throws into tight curves but it just will not break traction. The balance of the vehicle is truly amazing. Went ahead and cut off the muffler so I can hear the engine purr. So far amazing value and joy to drive for the money I spent on it.
