Can anyone relate? I am going to be 63 in May. Sometimes I walk in a room and forget what I went in there for!!! But..... you can play most any song from the 60's and 70's and I know every word!!! It all started when covid hit. I turned to music. Got a good pair of headphones, and went down so many rabbit holes in music!!! So many stories if you look hard enough you can find! Many songs were songs forgotten, but my mind knew every word!!! I have a chronic illness that affecting my short term memory and that is so frustrating!! But with ALL the wonderful music through the 60's, 70's and 80's I somehow must have compartmentalized those memories somehow!! My family cannot believe when a song we haven't thought of in decades plays and I sing it all!!! Is anybody else like me?? God bless all here in the coming New Year!
