There's no shame in starting small. This is the most important thing I got from this video. New subscriber

Just found your page and I really love your energy so I subscribed 😊 I love how you mentioned that it’s funny when people say they’re house hunting for months.. it’s really unrealistic. I moved from a whole other state to Lagos recently and I didn’t even move about to find an apartment. I prayed about my agent and God sent a really trustworthy agent for me.. I found a house in less than a month and the guy was just sending me pictures till I saw the one I really liked. I sent my cousin who was in Lagos for viewing and made specifications of all she should critically look into; when everything was good, I paid and moved peacefully to Lagos and this house has been amazing since I moved. While searching, I wrote a list of things I wouldn’t compromise on like good water, spacious kitchen/good space in general etc and didn’t have an over-romanticized idea of the area i wanted to stay.. I found a great place that the area wasn’t “giving or serving aesthetic” but just okay and fine with clean water and mad constant light. Especially knowing my budget, I wasn’t looking for overly fancy aesthetics with a slim under 1M rent budget.. that’s just unrealistic.. when I furnish to my taste it will eventually start “giving”.. I’ve watched house hunting videos of people who really like a house but they’ll say the bathroom tiles is not fine and that will be the disqualification of a very nice “aesthetically pleasing” house. Especially when you know your budget, stick to the basics but good fundamentals and keep it pushing… but this is the social media era and the obsession to impress can be detrimental Anyway, Sorry for the long comment. Love your channel; I have a feeling you’ll blow up here soon. Godspeed acceleration to you, Amen❤

Hi. When you say someone moving out is a red flag, I’m trying to make sense of that. Aren’t people supposed to move out? Because one is not gonna get brand new houses all the time. I’m moving out of a mini flat to a 2 bedroom because we now need the extra space, so someone renting my old apartment would be red flagging the place? 😂😂

I disagree about not living in the same place with your landlord. The generalisation is not apt. I live in the same building with my landlord and he is a very nice person
