Your mistake was forgetting to say "Goodbye" when you finished using the Ouija Board. The spirit didn't know it was supposed to leave so it kept pranking you.

Fun fact: the ouiji board was patented as a tool meaning you have to prove it works in order to get your patent. Around comes a very disbelieving patent officer to test the merits of the tool. They ask a question only the officer would know the answer to, who is keeping a keen eye out for shenanigans. The spirit answered correctly and the officer wigged out and left. The creator got his patent.

I used to see shadows darting around rooms when I was a kid. This went on for years. Never freaked me out, just thought it was kind of weird. I eventually concluded it was just a weird defect in human sight (kind of how it's easier to tell if a fluorescent bulb is flickering rapidly out of the corner of your eye, even though it looks solid when you look at it straight on). Thinking about it, I don't see those shadows anymore. Can't say I think it was ghosts, but I do wonder a bit what the deal was with that.

100% the apartment building I used to live in with my cousin was haunted. Not only was the building a repurposed hotel that was so old they were legally not allowed to replace the (decrepit, jerky, frequently breaking down) elevator. But a dude literally died in his apartment within the time we lived there.
