Extremely underrated song. John absolutely killed this song.

Just saw them in Phoenix Arizona and they played this song. It was amazing.

Trippy medieval verse, with that massive chorus riff, this is amazing. Quite different to their usual songs, love it.

Age doesn't matter for them they just constantly slay. I feel so grateful for them.

to anybody who watched the Stadium Arcadium documentary : Remember when John was like "I really wanted those big, almost heavy metal choruses" ? yeah, so do I. this is it.

Friday night at the new Tottenham stadium was 🔥🔥🔥
  • [Verse 1] Drop another snake bomb, it might shake I confused it, with an earthquake Mass confusion in a mason jar Texas blood flow, in a biker bar Stick to bluegrass guns We are riding, with the flying nuns Tell me all the dirty things you have seen Are you laced up? Well, are you really clean? [Chorus] I'ma lose it if I do not find, oh Someone better reach out Find a steady shine Someone better reach out Get it on the line I’m a bruiser and I do not mind, oh Someone better reach out Climb a mountain time Someone better reach out Get it on the line [Verse 2] Cruising down the hill in a blue streetcar Can't refuse it, no matter who you are Filling up your head with a bathtub rose We composed it, but does it really show? Slow your donkeys down This good lord is, from a border town I'm about to lose what little I’ve got Please don't treat me, like an afterthought [Chorus] I'ma lose it if I do not find, oh Someone better reach out Find a steady shine Someone better reach out Get it on the line I'm a bruiser and I do not mind, oh Someone better reach out Climb a mountain time Someone better reach out Get it on the line [Bridge] Feel my call the Lexicon makes its Own way, own way Break this fall, the excellence has its Own say, own say [Verse 3] Hazard pay for a canceled bear Bygone Sally, with the greasy hair Hard as nails but soft to wear Rooftop crops up, and a folding chair Pay your thug store hench Mugshot daddy, with the golden wrench Locomotive smoke to cover up what's broke Please don't seize me, until you get my joke [Chorus] I'ma lose it if I do not find, uh Someone better reach out Find a steady shine Someone better reach out Get it on the line I’m a bruiser and I do not mind, oh Someone better reach out Climb a mountain time Someone better reach out Get it on the line [Outro] I’ma lose it if I do not find, oh Someone better reach out Find a steady shine Someone better reach out Get it on the line

Theee past 2 albums have been absolutely extraordinary, I hope you guys keep experimenting and making these beautiful pieces of art!
  • Love the guitar in this track. It has a clean chime that sounds like bells and then a distorted crunch that has a deep pulse that seems as if it drags through mud. And the lead soloing sounds like a flowing stream that is going in more then one direction. I know this may be hard to interprete but that's what I get.

This album is pretty much more experimental than the last one. A lot of hits in unlimited love, especially radio friendly ones, but this new album is what i think a lot of chili peppers’ fans where expecting in terms of bringing different references, including john’s solo career, and prospecting the directions the band may take from now on compared to what was left over when john left. Hope to see the band experimenting and freely composing even more, towards expanding their boundaries and affecting more people.

So fucking awesome! A real ROCK song, you can really hear the grunge elements. I love the variety on this album, so many different styles, borrowing from chilli peppers’ past, and pushing far ahead into new territories. Amazing album, the boys outdid themselves.
