Published 2021-10-09
Stressed out about traveling with food allergies? In this video, I share my top 18 tips for traveling with a severe food allergy. I suffer from multiple food allergies and I also have a son who is severely allergic to nuts, so planning a trip can sometimes be quite challenging. Planning ahead, carrying your own allergy-safe food, and having a contingency plan are all key to ensure a safe trip. It is always a scary situation dealing with food allergies when away from home, but it should not prevent you from traveling and enjoying your life.

I found this very helpful. I live in Sweden and I would like to travel to spain and other countries like america and austrailia. Im allergic to milk, egg, all kinds of nuts (air), crayfish, fured animals etc. Ive alot of them but the most annoying is milk, eggs and nuts. because they are being used everywhere. So when I travel in the future I will try to remember this video. Its helpful to know other people have done it before me so I dont have to figure out these things myself

So I will be traveling to Vietnam in December. I am staying at an Airbnb so I will be able to cook for myself. But I am taking Qatar airlines, and connecting in Doha. Qatar does not handle nut allergies at all, so I will have to bring my own meals. Its. 12 hours flight (14 coming home). So I wanted to know any advice on how to bring food for myself for the plane ride? Im not sure if you have any experience in Doha or HCM City, Vietnam, but if you know what foods I can/cannot bring that would be appreciated as well. Thank you so much, very helpful video.
