I can't believe it! Someone who ACTUALLY sang the National Anthem pretty much the way it was written instead of jazzing it up with runs up and down the scale a hundred times throughout the song. Well done, young lady! 🇺🇲 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 🇺🇲

As I watch this I am remembering 9/10/2007. Our son was home for two weeks before deployment. On this last day we attended the Bengals Monday Night Football. I still cry every time I hear our National Anthem. To see him stand and salute while it played. This was the last time I saw my son. 11 days later he was killed by a drunk driver. He gave so many special and everlasting memories. That one is infinitely more special to me. To hear this so beautifully preformed… I got chills and of course tears when they panned to the young man saluting. We still have proud Americans who live for the freedoms so many died for.
