Great recipe, did not add mushrooms, as I didn’t have on-hand. Chicken had a great flavor and I believe it tastes better than chick fil a. Fried in several batches because I only had olive oil and used a small pan so I didn’t waste a lot of oil. Husband and 3 year old devoured them, he said it was the best chicken I’ve ever made. I also cut the recipe in 1/4 and found it was perfect for about 22 pieces of chicken. I don’t like wasting a lot of batter and food, so I didn’t want a ton of leftover throw away food. Try this recipe, you won’t be disappointed.

I can't cook hardly at all. First time breading and frying anything. Used this recipe, and even with a couple subs for ingredients I didn't have (breast in stead of thigh, garlic powder for mushroom powder at 1/4 the volume, smoked paprika in stead of sweet), the nuggets turned out nearly IDENTICAL to Chick Fil A. I'll be doing this repeatedly until I can do it from memory, and impress the everliving hell out of my friends.

"you're more likely to get ligma than to be harmed by MSG" Pure gold there.

As someone who breaded and cooked Chickfila chicken for like 3 years this is actually pretty close!

Most chefs mark their plastic containers with useful information. Joshua: c:

Ok so a few observations I had after making this -The sauce came out awesome and was delicious - The porcini powder turned the breading, when cooked, very dark (no, I don’t burn them) - Overall, the chicken in my opinion was lacking flavor. I stuck to the recipe, didn’t add anything or take anything away. Love the videos...I’ll take any feedback I can get.

He says “Don’t challenge me” a few years later, making the Statue of Liberty but better
-
He should let random people on the street taste-test and pick between his version and the original

you know why your show works, cause the recipe and process is what makes the food taste better through the camera, and its true. Everything you make is fire, and I could smell it through the video. keep it up man.
