  • Dolph lundgren has always been a brutal villain, from scenes like Rocky, universal soldier etc, with his dead pan looks. Easily one of the best villains in movies .

My Dad passed over 2 years ago, but I can still hear him roar with laughter when Dolph says “that’s the spirit, soldier”.

Dolph Lundgren would've made a badass terminator
  • @jmorlar2852
I think Lundgren carried out one of his best actings here: he's genuinely intimidating, scary, with an evil-twisted eye and a ruthless thirst for blood.

I loved watching Dolph in this movie as a kid. I could never hate him as the bad guy. I found him so funny but also so perfect in this role.

I'm honestly surprised dolph wasn't nominated for any awards for his performance as Sergeant Andrew Scott I think it's the best performance of his career

"It's Empty"! Dolph's facial expressions are priceless!

"You should have taken your, medicaaation"

Van Damme was never afraid to get his ass kicked in his movies, which always made for more interesting fight scenes than Steven Seagal.

I used to watch this movie all the time when I was a kid. Amazing action film. Jean Claude & Dolph were perfect together, it was unbelievable seeing them reunite again in Unisol 3 final fight years later.
  • That laugh/sell combo at 16sec is awesome. Especially the gut punch. Dolph (and JCVD) are huge inspirations when it comes to fitness and martial arts.

When everybody was surprised by Dolph and his acting skills 😁

I saw this in theaters as a young lad. The part where Jean-Claude rises up with flames behind him and is ready to deliver one of his fight comeback ass whippings, and after throwing an amazing kick....Dolph still standing and staring right back at him, be like "Now that's the spirit soldier!!" The crowd BUSTED out laughing like crazy. Myself included, LMFAO

The shot with van damme rising and fire in the background is so cool, especially with the music

Dolph Lundgren knows very well how to play the crazy scary psychopath, you got to give him that. Great actor.
