Also very sad of the departure of Sal. I really like his Rounders ceramics and might pick up a set if they are still available.
  • Like you, I love the hot stamps too. Love the feel of the chips. But the gold is flaking and fading. The stamps wont last.
  • agree with Bill. Ravenor chips both classic and non are a nice set of chips.
  • I also bought a lot of different sample sets and played with them before settling on Tikis. Scrolls have a texture that feels like scraping fingers on a blackboard, and both them and Dunes?Pharohs are so slippery that stable stacking is not happening. The best chips from your sets are Tikis, CPC, and although I hate the design, Jacks.
  • @lazylion420
great information about the Tangiers chips, thanks

Need your opinion, a set of new atlantic chips or used key west?
  • Have you tried Garden city poker chips? And what about dia de Los muertos? Looks like Tiki style.. thoughts?

Just curious. I OWN 1500 Top hat and Cane, Paulson poker Chips. I got them back when i was starting out my poker room in 2010 ish... I got them brand new from a poker dealer in Denmark. I cant buy more today... And I’ve heard they are rare and expensive. How much would they be worth today? All 95% condition. Ive washed them all by hand ans oiled them. Best Regards Thomas
  • Those Outlaw chips look fantastic. I love the colors, and it has just the right amount of "Obscenity" to give a rowdy feel without being obnoxious. Most "Skull" emblazoned chips are extremely "busy" looking (Looking at you "Nevada Jack". Or the cheaper "Skull" chips at Amazon have dice on the label? Clearly no-one was thinking very hard when they made those) and I feel like you'd see nothing but noise just glancing at the chip, or a splashed pot would be visual barf. Good job Claysmith. Someone over there knows what they're doing.

I really want that Tangier’s set I can’t find it anywhere
  • @srhinckley6664
You need to do one from Wicked Spades, made by the same people who make the Nevada Jack lineup.

They use the Crown chips in one of the biggest casino's here in London, the Hippodrome (you can see images of their chips on their website), just without the gold hologram centre ring. Not sure how long they have been using these chips for, or if they are the same with the metal slug or a casino quality chip, but they use them here in the UK

Need more info about these new Paulson tournament chipsets which are alluded to about 4/5th of the way through this video!

Im looking at purchasing the Desert Heat poker chips from Clay smith gaming, just not 100% sure if i want to make the purchase or hold out for a more expensive chip. It would be my second set, used for poker nights every 1-2 weeks and my budget isn't big, and as i live in the UK shipping is expensive, in some cases more than bulk load of chips, but there is no good alternative sold in the UK. what would be your opinion ?

Ok, just got to your channel tonight and its the 2 video i see already. I love your attention to details and the ammount of info i can get from every video! I would have one question though for everyone who can reply to me 🙂 Why are the prices you list here soooo much cheaper than those from AliExpress? Cause that set you posted at #10 is sold for like 50c/chip in the chinese stores on AliExpress, which is like 3-4x more than what you listed. Wanted to buy that so a youtube search lead me to you 😃 and i'm very thankful for it! Cheers! Thanks in advance to all who reply! 🙏 🍻
  • Want to get a new quality tournament set but I am really in a bind. I thought I had settled on Tiki Kings since the company is in the US and I can build up my collection a little at a time; rather than spend several hundred all at once. Then I came across Apollon Chips and their "Vintage" class of chips and fell in love. The Ravenor chips combine just about everything I wanted, solid colors, black inlay, ceramic (or hybrid as they call it). The Ravenor and Lucid Diamond sets are very similar and could live with either if shipping wasn't so expensive from China. I can't even order a sample without paying out the ass. As a second option, I also love their Badlands design, but same issue with shipping. It is funny because a handful of their Classic Chip designs are shared rights with BRPro Poker and they are able to print and ship them cheaper here in the U.S, but their Vintage lines I would like to see you review sometime in the future if you ever get your hands on some.
