Previously, we completed the center roof line and prepped for the install of the next ridge beam.
With all of our steel decking on site, we've begun focusing on moving towards the concrete ceiling pour. Each steel plate has been installed which leaves us with the task of moving the steel beams into place, lifting the steel on top of the safe room walls and getting ready to lay the final course of block.

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. Josh you and Erin are an amazing couple. Your engineering skills are out of this world even if you didn't get from College Learning. It's a lot of fun to watch your excitement about how much closer you are to finishing each episode. Erin, I have a suggestion/request. When your working with metal PLEASE use gloves.
