That’s actually genius. Walking to get food, that’s how our ancestors survived. He hunted and gathered himself thin.

I lost 58 pounds walking every day. The key is good walking shoes. I still walk every day. So happy for this man.

Walking is such an easy way to clear your mind and burn calories. In my opinion, it's better to roam around your city for three hours than to overexert yourself attempting a 1-hour long run if you don't have the stamina for it.

I give him major props because it’s difficult when most people probably drove by laughing or judging the fat guy walking.
  • Love this story! I went from 207 Lbs down to 150 Lbs now and I’m still grinding hard at the gym to gain lean mass! It’s tough at first but once you start seeing results it makes you push even harder to reach your goals !

This man is my inspiration. If he can lose weight at 600 pounds, so can I at 200pounds.

This is why kids of my generation were so in shape; we walked and/or rode our bikes everywhere. Sun out, so were we except for early Saturday mornings (that was reserved for cartoons).

Every time I go shopping which is Every weekend I park my car at the very end of Costco parking lot. So I can get the maximum work out and I hit the mall and another grocer store. Not only am I shopping for my family but working out as well. You do sweat pushing that cart! Then 4 days a week I'm in the swimming pool pumping out 50 laps. I use to weigh 485 lbs now I'm at 180lbs. Simple changes can lead to a healthy lifestyle and I'm much happier now. I'm very happy for Pat and all his positive changes he looks incredible!
  • People dont drink sodas, dont buy cookies of the store, make oatmeals cookies yourself, walk for 45minutes daily, drink 2liters of water daily, try to eat boil food, go to a nutriologist so he or she teaches you to eat correctly, diets are not good, just do exercises daily, and eat clean food cut the foods of McDonald's etc, mediterranean food is good, and sorry for my english I dont speak english very well.

I lost 50 pounds after having a knee replacement and I am 41. 😉 I did it by walking everyday and eating right, no junk food or soda and a lot of water. Good for this guy, super proud of him as I know how difficult it really is. 💪💕

When you see tears in his eyes @ 2:30, you know how small steps changed his life. Those are tears of accomplishment.
  • Can you imagine how much this decision saved his life!! Had he been alive still at his prior weight at the beginning of covid he'd be in big trouble!!! I love stories like this he looks amazing and has motivated so many people
