Although it seems lord debling won’t be a bad character based off the info given, I hope there’s no twist that turns him into a weirdo. It would show that Penelope can truly attract great and worthy suitors and not just Colin + random creeps.

Interesting that the show is including another suitor. I’m looking forward to it, despite Lord Debling not being in the books. I honestly think the books could have used more romantic prospects for Penelope.

I only hope they don't make him up to be a bad guy just so that Polin can happen. I hope Penelope does get the option to choose between 2 great guys (Colin, not so much right now he's gotta make it up). But it genuinely would be a cop out if they do that. I don't think they would though, just vouicing my only concern.

even though I am all for Colin I want Lord Debling to be serious competition who is a genuine good guy. I wand Colin to see a healthy relationship with admiration and respect and just for him to imagine the possible future of happiness with Pen and him, only to realise that its not a future with him by Pens side. He should realise how he has become too comfortable in the bubble of friendship and that Pen is ready to leave it behind. It means that he can't just see her whenever he comes home and can't just walk to his neighbors the Faetheringtons right across his family home because there is a possible future where she will share her future in a different place with a different name that is not Bridgerton

Colin had the opportunity, and he insistently didn't see Pen as a woman and broke her heart. They were friends for maybe over a decade, and he was still embarrassed by her, and he publicly said things that he knew that would break Pen. I really love Pen and wish the best for her , and I really think Lord Debling is the best for her . She will be seeing a lot of hate from the people of society if she ends up with Colin.

I wanna root for Polin but dang, Debling is 🔥 I might be camp Pebling! I hope he gets a hookup before the season is out, he seems like a good man who deserves it

I too had a Penn and Colin relationship in high school. My crush was my best friend's brother. We knew each other for 10 years. We finally went on a 'real' date as seniors. He went in for a good night kiss and before our lips touched we both burst out laughing. We have remained close over the years as our respective spouses love that a guy and girl can be close friends.

I have this gut feeling that Lord Debling is gonna be the Prince from Season 1. A perfect guy, looking to marry, eyes set on one girl and yet it’s the girl who ultimately decides that their heart belongs to another. I’m so excited for Penelope and Colin’s story but equally excited how they’ll play in Lord Debling as a suitor. PENELOPE, YOU GO GIRL. GET YOUR MAN (*cough* Colin *cough*)

I honestly want to see more of Lord Debling.

If a man needs another man to show him what he might have missed, he is not the right man. As an obese person (even if I lost the weight I will always be the same person), I don’t see Colin as that amazing and the amazing thing is seeing all the bullies of my past thinking he is.
