HE'S FINALLY HERE AFTER A YEAR OF WAITING
The long-awaited Adventure Sonic, or SA-Sonic for short is a character mod developed by newcomer MetalWario64 and the legendary Golden Shine of Super Mystic Sonic fame to create an experience unlike any other! Adventure Sonic is what it says on the tin - Sonic that plays from from the Adventure Era of games. He can use the Bounce Bracelet, Light Speed Dash/Attack, Spamdash and more! The best thing of all is his Super Transformation, being able to switch on the fly between his Adventure 1 style of gameplay to the flight-based Adventure 2 mode!
I could say plenty more but I don't think mere words could express how incredible this character is, and I highly recommend you experience him for yourself to see just how groundbreaking he truly is. Golden Shine, MetalWario64, if you're reading this, I just want to say thank you ever so much for giving us this phenomenal mod, and for all the unforgettable memories and moments from the Adventure Sonic Development Thread on the Message Board. It's been an honour having witnessed this from the very beginning and you all deserve a very long rest for all you've done!

I only got into SRB2 in late 2020, but this is an interesting look into how things might have been if I had maybe gotten into the game years before, creating him back during this era. :3 I know Shine would have loooooooved it at the time, but I also do think that we've both learned so much over the years, as well as the game itself supporting way more features now, that maybe it was for the best that things happened when they did. I like thinking about this kind of stuff sometimes!

Actually you can get hyper without using xmomentum. But it’s pretty difficult. You need to play and beat black hole zone with sa sonic which is one of the hardest special stages in the game. Now you might ask “but you can’t play that level because it’s in nights mode and modified games can’t play the level” well there are two ways you can do this ether download the custom game save in message board that allows modified characters or just use the command “map map57” ether way is fine then beat the stage. After that you unlock hyper basically forever even outside of modified game states. You still need 100 rings to use hyper but it’s an amazing reward. If you have a hard time beating it just put god mode lol. (Note hyper doesn’t work on netgames but since xmomentum works you can just make a server with that mod installed)
