Today we visited Chimney Rock State Park in North Carolina.

Although the weather has not been the best for this trip we certainly made the most of our trip. We bring you along on our day visit to the state park.
Sadly a lot of the Chimney Rock was not accessible to us due to the weather but we was still able to see a lot.

Woohoo the park was open, even though it was snowy and icy. The elevator was def a good option! The cave was closed during our visit too. Glad you were able to see Hickory Nut Falls even though part of the trail was closed. Soo many steps! I liked Eli's suggestion 😆 "you can roll down the hill and can I go get the car"

Looks like you guys really got into the winter spirit and enjoyed the snowy cold weather! Chimney Rock honestly looks amazing! Oh man the ice on the stairs was making me nervous haha, definitely need to be careful. Damn, 170 steps is a lot - no need for another leg day for awhile!
  • It’s about a 177 steps. “There’s a little more, I think we’ll survive.” “I won’t.” 🤣😂😅 Thank you for the entire trek. I loved it! It looks like you’re beginning to enjoy the cold more so than the heat. Livelifewithaview!!

I seem to forget that winter exists now that I live in a land of perpetual summer. I love caves.
