About MLB.com:
Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the internet. Damn, him scrambling around after the hit is what got me scared more than the actual hit
  • @tonyattardo9350
His reaction is so spooky. He threw off his hat and glove like his body was quitting the sport for him.
  • Seeing him scramble around on the ground throwing his gear off is terrifying. The blank stare he has on his face immediately after is so spooky.
  • Happened to me in Little League. Had a headache for 2 years. Woke up one morning pain free and cried all day.
  • 6 years later, and this is still the gnarliest hit I think I've ever seen anyone take! Brutal.
  • How did that not kill him!? I’ve see. This video 100 times and I still can’t believe how flush that got him. 101 mph baseball to the side of the head. Wow.

Trainer: "How many fingers am I holding up?" Pitcher: "biscuits..."

His look is what makes it so scary. He was so out of it you forsure think he suffered some kind of damage....

These kind of injuries are very scary. Thankfully he is okay now, but still a freak accident in any point during the game. It was also great to see the fans at PNC Park be very classy and hoping that the pitcher was okay.

I absolutely love how the guy that hit the ball looks so scared for the other player he hit. Even though they are opposite teams he still shows concern.

To me, his gaze is more terrifying than those who just sprawl out waiting for the medic.

U can tell that was just pure instinct and adrenaline by the look on his face and his reaction

Always scary when someone’s body goes on “fight or flight autopilot” after a blow to the head. I played hockey all through my childhood and teen years and seeing someone go like rigid from being knocked out is awful.
  • @kseries27
Great sportsmanship. I like that he got immediate attention and no worried about making the play.

I don' t know why I watch this stuff. It is just crazy how these guys get nailed and keep moving. He was looking for the ball! Dude was on another planet.

Had a concussion in football and it was a very surreal experience. I could walk and everything but I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience. No cognizance of how I was still able to move around. Like my being, my soul left. A hour later, on the ride back home, I started sobbing uncontrollably off and on for no reason. Scary experience
