If WWE invited Jim Cornette to go into their Hall Of Fame, but used Vince Russo as the presenter, it would simultaneously be the greatest long term angle and swerve ever. It would also be the last time we saw Corny as a free man, but sacrifices have to be made

Being responsible for training Lesnar, Cena, Batista, Lashley, etc seems like a big thing to get inducted for.

I know Jim’s feelings about the hall, but The Midnight should’ve been in the Hall of Fame himself included

Bobby's induction speech would have been the greatest silent speech of all time, him simply nodding with a smile would have earned him a standing ovation.

Jim you deserve it, you're a legend you helped make thousands if not millions of young peoples teenage adolescent years amazing watching you, can't tell you how many fond memories I have watching you on TV as a child and teenager.

Honestly, the Hall of Fame at this point is for the fans. We just want to be able to give these guys one more moment in the spotlight so we can celebrate them.

OVW alone & the mega stars they produced could get Cornette in. Not to mention the incredible Midnight Express run.

It’s unforgivable that Jim and the midnight are not inter hall of fame already.

Jim said something unconnected here that actually answers a lot of questions. He trademarked his name and the Midnight Express, which means WWE probably can't put out a bunch of licensed Midnight merch and videos without Jim's permission. This makes a Legends contract with Jim much less valuable to them than many others would be.
