You forgot that Yara laughed at Sam mentioning democracy even though that’s literally how Ironborns choose their leaders

A friend of mine got upset because I made him a peanut butter sandwich, knowing he has a peanut allergy. I explained that I was just subverting his expectations.

"The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.” every remaining Stark goes alone to different corners of the globe
  • @relazar
Bran’s story is so good they ignored it in season 5

"Death is the Death of Death." - Tyrion Obvious, Son of Dur.
  • Edmure got done dirty. He's honestly probably the most qualified person to be a king at that meeting.

ASOIAF Edmure is what a true ruler should be. He truly cared for his people. (Cat) Hundreds of smallfolk had been admitted to the castle, and allowed to erect crude shelters against the walls. Their children were everywhere underfoot, and the yard teemed with their cows, sheep, and chickens. “Who are all these folk?” "My people," Edmure answered. "They were afraid''

I will never get tired of hearing people shit on the final season of GOT. Never.

THE LEGITIMIZED SON OF THE KING IS LITERALLY AT THE GREAT COUNSEL AND NOBODY MENTIONS IT?!? I can't get over this.
  • @ferrm1992
Brienne closing the book without the ink being dry is a meta representation of D&D ending the series
  • - Yara remains silent in the face of a girl's death threat. - Yara accepting the independence of the north knowing that all Yara has done in the show is fight for the Iron Islands to be independent. - Yara laughing at the idea of democracy proposed by Sam knowing that this is how the salt king is chosen in the Iron Islands. WTF Yara.

How could Dany possibly remember what the iron throne looked like in her vision in s02? She couldn't even remember the iron fleet after talking about it in the same episode.

That Edmure bit was absolutely perfect. Someone had to defend my poor floppy fish from this absolutely disrespectful writing and I‘m glad you answered the call, sir. Well done.
  • @Zounaas
"Anyone else thought Bran was gonna stand up too" I literally laughed by myself :D
  • @Lifeofpeta
I felt embarrassed when they shouted “queen in the north” like they really thought they ate that and it had 0% emotional impact.
  • @karrtim2886
To be fair, I would much rather have Sir Edmure Tully ruling Westeros than emotionless, omniscient boy who all this time claimed he didn't want to be a lord, is not a Stark anymore, or even human, or didn't want anything from the world, but then, when he is presented with the opportunity to sit on the throne the first thing he says is "why do you think I've came all this way?". WTF? I see a whole sea of red flags waving...

"Robin Arryn represents the power of Calcium" I died! 🤣🤣🤣
  • Barristen does write his own entry in the books, Jaime even reflects on how funny it is that Barristan updated his own page before fleeing King's Landing.
  • I’ll never get over how stupid it is that John took the black again or the fact that there’s still a nightswatch. The Night King died and half the wall was blasted open. If anyone wanted to walk through then they could and not to mention the vast majority of the wildlings are south of the wall.
