10:54 Hi thats me 😊😊 "obstacle course" was mostly used between april/may of 2007 to january of 2008, (starting with waffleboy's very influential and now deleted obstacle course from april of 2007) and the word "obby" was coined because of the max character limit for game titles. from about early-2008 onward, obby became the main term for obstacle course games. obby wasnt coined as a way to make it easier to type, instead just because they typed too much. i actually made a whole video about how obbies evolved a few months ago, with their history going as far back as october 200

Roblox privating all the audios really makes old, abandoned games even more depressing.

It’s sad that most people doesn’t play these games anymore, especially Flood survival, this game was the best, nowadays, the least amount of players it has now, has like 0-3, and the most, only has 15-20. Thanks Flood Survival.☹️

Nothing's more sad and nostalgic when you visit an old favorite game that no one plays anymore so you just hang out in the game and remember the good times you had with friends that most likely don't play Roblox anymore. That's the most lonely feeling on Roblox. What’s a game on Roblox you love that no one plays anymore? For me that goes to Survival Beginnings, the original Reason2Die and Slender Camp.

I just randomly decided to check when the creator of the LIFE game was last online since I got a glimpse of the description with the person saying they wouldn’t update the game, and the person was still pretty active for a while. They joined on march 1, 2008, and they were last online on march 15, 2022, which is 96 days ago. It’s nice to see how these kids are doing, but it’s been so long I reckon they’re probably an adult or teen and moving on from roblox now.

As a player from 2008, a lot of the free models in those abandoned games are very nostalgic.

You know I love videos like these. Just the concept of exploring old forgotten servers in games like Minecraft and Roblox give off a really odd vibe. Like there should be something there but it’s just… empty.

"A dead zombie, I'm guessing he's supposed to be alive" Please think about what you just said.

I've had my main Roblox account since 2011 and these old games (or Places as we used to call them) honestly bring me a lot of a weird mix of nostalgia and uneasiness, there's just something about these abandoned games with the aesthetics of the Late 2000's and Early 2010's Roblox that just feels nostalgic but... Off...

Wish a roblox like this still existed, had much more soul than the current roblox.

Great to see you’re still making good content

imagine people 15 years from now looking back at games from 2022

Roblox click-to-move use to be something that was on by default. And it use to spawn a green circle on the ground when and where your cursor was pointed to the ground. However, it only made a beeline and it was not smart enough to route you around obstacles. The invisible mazes and platforms would have been played by the player sweeping his or her mouse around like a metal detector looking for the path.

Had a really hard day today, so it's nice to see an upload from Remainings. Also, nice we got another Wayback Machine video, may even give the site a go myself at some point.

“This game may be called life but it’s lifeless right now” Had me cracking up and filled with sadness at the same time

Man seeing all these games really makes me miss this era of roblox, I just don’t get the same level of enjoyment out of it anymore
  • @mud4309
Man this is crazy. Honestly I'm not really in to Roblox nowadays (aside from playing Phantom Forces with a buddy of mine as its our "thing" every once in a rare while) but this video brought me straight back to my elementary days. This video is how I still imagine Roblox to be in spite of the weird memory shock I get the very rare times I check other modern Roblox games, and its cool to see that the Roblox I remember playing for hours on end when I was 5-7 isnt just a distant fuzzy memory. But that its all actually still around.

Roblox was going on the route of breaking old Roblox games, but recently they started adding back some of the old things that were breaking the old games because they wanted to make them still playable, of course not all games are playable only a few are but because of it some old games can be played as if they were never broken
