This is a NEW DRILL I have discovered that helps you bomb your driver but DO NOT SQUARE THE CLUB FACE AND START IT IS LIKE THIS!

Start the club face like this and you will start hitting so much longer and straighter drives! This is a proven method that I know works for every single golfer no matter their age or ability. Do not square the club face and start the club face like this instead! It is honestly like cheating.

I never start with my golf club face square and I do not have the driver square at impact, this method will get you hitting the driver straighter and it will help you to hit the golf ball longer. It is a really simple tip that you can take straight out onto the golf course. All golfers ask simple driver drills, how to square the club face, how hit the driver longer, how to hit the driver straighter, how to hit a draw, how to square the club face, how to improve with driver, the list goes on.

FINALLY, someone who can explain setup properly to help us! My first pro lesson they had me setup "square" club and feet. But they didn't tell me that wasn't the impact position - so I was trying to return to setup at impact. Not all coaching pros are created equal! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

Alex, thank you so very much for this lesson which verified what I was doing yesterday at the range. I had learned the slightly closed club face from another PGA coach and I can tell everyone else that it works like Magic! I am 54 years young and I've only been playing for 2 seasons now and just recently I've been able to constantly drive a straight as an arrow ball to the 200 yard marker. My game constantly improves daily because I watch and learn from your lessons and I go and practice it! Cheers Bradah😉🤙
  • I've ENTERED: I've been playing golf over 55 years. Having reached my pinnacle in the last century, my game has gone south. This is my second year following your lessons. Through your help, my game is revived. Thank you for the guidance.
  • Entered. Great content, after 20 years away from the course you’re helping me get my handicap down, and being able to enjoy consistent golf. Thanks

Shared! I can’t believe how useful your tips are for a new golfer - well, 69 years and started 3 months ago, and already improving due to following you! Thanks Alex!

As per usual Alex. A simple golf tip... Not over complicating things. Thanks

Absolutely understand the technique you describe. I’ve been working on similar issue with the diver face to square. I finally understand some problems that I was creating with setup and proper driver alignment. I used to sole the club and grip. That caused the face to be open at impact and I was inconsistent. Now I’ve improved a lot. Great job.

Alex, this tip has changed my golf life. I did this today at the range and literally hit almost every drive straight or with a draw and was constantly hitting 285-300 off the tee, in cold weather in Ohio. This is a game changer!

Great tip, Alex. With adjustable drivers, would purchasing a lower lofted driver (ex. 9 degree when you play a 10.5) and then lofting up accomplish the same? I've read that certain loft sleeves increase loft by closing the face. Thoughts? Thanks as always.

Entered. I’m new to golf at 56 years old and your videos have helped me a lot and they make it enjoyable to watch and try your drills
  • @cplbergman
I started doing this exact thing this year and have almost eliminated the fade out of my swing. I hardly ever hit an iron or 3 wood off the tee anymore as I feel 110% with my driver now. Good information, keep it up!!
  • @tincup033
I've been using this technique for many years as a way to hit a "cheater" draw and it works really well. Don't discount the type of ball you use though, the rock hard "distance" balls are going to be more difficult to turn over versus the tour feel golf balls with a stickier/squishier cover.

Dude, you fixed my slice. I literally stumbled across your channel one hour before tee time. Tried this little fix and my slice was gone. It corrected 30 years of crappy drives. Always assuming my ball would end up in the dirt or water. I hit every fairway, well almost, hit a couple sand traps, near fairway, but the ball went longer and straighter my English friend. I showed my pal and he hit it straight too. Except when he resisted the fix. Great tip man! Subscribed

Great video! Wow you nailed it! I’ve played several rounds with guys who line up like this and they have a 5 to 10 handicap and makes so much sense now THANK YOU! You just made #1 teacher. You sir deserve an apple. Can’t wait to try it out Thursday 👊
  • @waynekirby2135
Great tip, I've been turning my club face in for the last two weeks as a fix for my own slice, but your explanation confirms I'm not crazy! I hook it some times, but I can work with that by aiming down the right side
  • @briandrerup1768
Entered. I’ve been using this same technique and it has completely changed my driving. I’m longer and straighter than ever. Thanks for the great video.
  • @brettrobertshaw771
