The fact that they actually made Herrenhall seem haunted in the show was a BRILLIANT touch 😂

I loved the last episode. Especially deamon in the haunted harrenhal scene and seeing young rhaenyra. Fun to see her get a quick cameo.

I know that it was a serious moment, but that hard cut from "You wouldn't dare", to dead Blackwoods and Brackens everywhere legit got a little chuckle out of me. 😂

That last scene with Rhaenyra and Alicent had a little bit of ridiculousness in it but it’s also kinda sad. Even if Rhaenyra and Alicent had made peace right then and there, it wouldn’t matter because there’s no way anyone else will want peace. There is no way Aemond will lay down his dragon willingly and nether with Aegon since he’s now all for a war. Daemon most certainly won’t want to keep a single member of team green alive either. At this point, it’s the point of no return and Alicent knows that. She’s dug herself into a hole she can’t get out of now.

Why do people keep acting like GoT was nonstop action? The vast majority of that show was dialogue and slow pacing, that picked up toward the end of each season. There were PLENTY of “nothing happened yet” episodes… but also… let’s stop pretending NOTHING has happened. It’s exhausting that today’s viewers are incapable of letting a story DEVELOP. We’re barely going to be halfway. There are plenty of episodes left in the season to make good on the promise of war. There has to be SOME buildup. Jeez.

Some folk complain about the pace of first three episodes but the plunge is quite promising, and I really liked the last moment of 02x03, where Emma D'arcy portrayed that Rhaenyra's at wit's end and slowly shuts off her emotions and compassion for what's to come

Did anyone else want Rhaenyra to start chanting “Shame!” when she realized Alicent’s mistake.

The Battle of Rook's Rest is about to break the internet! I can't wait for next Sunday. This battle is likely to make people reconsider their favorite battle in the history of TV Westeros.

For all complaining that this season has many "slow" moments, have you all forgotten how peak GOT was? It built characters over multiple episodes for the "big" shocking moments to actually matter. What ruined the last 2 seasons was the fast pacing and these "big" moments wich had zero emotional impact. You all will have your mega dragon fights but it is important see where these characters are first coming from otherwise the fights will not matter at all.

More than anything right now, I want to give a shout out to Ramin Djawadi the composer of the show who I think is doing incredible work and having now looked at his filmography I’m surprised his name is not talked about more👌
