  • That girl could’ve become a kickass ghost type trainer if she kept that mimikyu

you're telling me homeboy hears the Pokédex identify it as a living creature and still says lets throw it in the garbage?

(Mimikyu gets captured) (Mimikyu gets yeeted) Mimikyu: Wow. Rude.

Moral of the story - "Eh, it's somebody else's problem now."
  • I like how at the beginning, Banette started as a raggedy old cloth doll, and slowly became more developed as the film went on. Also lived the Mimikyu. I can imagine it's mad because Banette stole it's cloth.
  • Imagine if he didn't activate the ultra ball before he threw it and just ended up beaning Mimikyu in the face with a 90mph fastball. Super effective! Mimikyu fainted! Dad got 359 exp points!
  • I feel like in the world of pokemon having a ghost type or dark type would almost be needed just in case of ghost type pokes being vindictive or just acting like jerks. :P
  • Absolutely loved it. I want to see a live action Pokemon series already. It's about time.

I was really expecting them to keep the mimikyu and have the girl become a ghost pokemon trainer

Very neat! Theres a couple things that prod at my brain though. Both Banette and the Mimikyu seem to act in decent contrast to what their lore suggests, with Banette being vengeful and seeking revenge, and Mimikyu being desperate for acceptance as well as not wanting to be seen as anything other than its disguise. Makes me wonder who damaged it or hurt its disguise. Also as far as the family goes, in a Pokemon world, one would hope they’d send that ball off to a center or something, instead of just whacking it into the woods, for someone to inevitably find and release a pissed off and abandoned Pokemon.
  • I think it´s safe to say that everyone assumed that Banette was gonna be the villain of this story

You know this has probably happened once in the Pokémon world.

Woah! It looked so real, felt like a Netflix Pokemon show. Just wanted more
  • This was incredible! Very well done! I love that Banette was the hero in the end.

I am a Japanese pokémon trainer living in Japan. My favorite Pokemon is Juppeta(Banette is Juppeta in Japanese). For some reason, it suddenly appeared as a recommendation. Thanks to that, I am happy to have come across a video from three years ago. I am happy to meet a film in which Juppeta plays the main role. However, I was never able to fully understand this film. There are several doubts. Why was Juppeta in this house? Why did Mimikyu attack Amber? Why did Juppeta help Amber? I've come up with my own answers to these questions, but I don't really know the answers.
  • The reason why mom is in the game instead of dad is 'Mom would've let me go on a journey when im 10' not Dad😂🤣

Just wow, this was awesome. And for those who say Banette looks too “Cloth and fake” that’s the point of Banette it’s a LITERAL living doll, your Banette design is exactly how I would picture a real life Banette looking
