Why do they steal then say sorry? They clearly aren't sorry so why say it?

From what I've seen of this show, the #1 excuse if someone steals sucessfully.. "I thought you were going to steal" and if they both steal "I knew you were going to steal so I did too."

I have watched 4 or 5 videos of "split or steal" of Irish people being in the Final and in ALL of them the Irish person has Split every time!

I was chatting to a police officer the other day Who was retired , he said back in the 80’s we all used to look after each other , now people will do whatever to stab you in the back for the better of themselves . He says society has got so bad . Stab or be stabbed when it comes to a lot of work places . This is another example . Sad .

If the player who stole was really unsure about what the other player was going to do and had made a genuine mistake, she still would have offered to share the money.

I would always go “Steal” but if the other contestant had shown “Split” I would give them half after the show.

I would be upset if someone stole from me, but if I thought someone was going to steal I would still split because at least one of us would go home with something.
