Is Prague's Astronomical Clock REALLY DISAPPOINTING?

The clock isn’t overrated at all. I lived in Prague as a child in 70s and visited the city again in 2022; after a gap of 40 years! I love the city! It has a vibe of its own! Places like Prague are not for seeing only; they are meant to be felt! You must read and explore about the history of the places and then visit them. Also read about the legends and stories associated with those places. Prague is love! I hope and wish to visit this beautiful city again!

I’m fascinated by anything that has been around as long as the clock. I’m looking forward to visiting it in person in a couple of months.

Well I saw The clock first time in 2014 with my daughter. And we where impressed and visited it about Four times.

I LOVE the astronomical clock, and the history behind it. When I got to see it for the first time, it warmed my heart. It was a dream come true for me.

Our guide took us for coffee and pastries at the hotel across from the clock. This was the best way to learn the history and to avoid the crowds below. Loved Prague and its people.

Everyone likes different things. I loved the clock and was overwhelmed thinking about all who had vied it since 1410. While filming keep your other hand on your wallet is not bad advice. If we can get all the people who think Paris, Vienna, and Prague are overrated to just go to Disney and leave the rest of us alone, we will all be happier. Not liking something popular doesn’t make you sophisticated. Loudly proclaiming it makes you a bore. Keep up the great work RPGs.

History! Without a proper explanation, inquisitive minds wonder quickly. Luckily, we have Real Prague Guides to fully explain the importance of such features. Even if the missing "L" lends a passionate giggle. Always a thumbs-up!

I thought the clock was beautiful and wonderful. There was someone standing by me complaining about it.. but if you only come to clock for the show you are missing out on a lot of beautiful art and history which is what a Prague visit should be about.

My wife and I are visiting Prague from 6th - 13th February and are just starting to get excited. We just wanted to say that your videos are fantastic and so very helpful. We are staying in old town in a hotel with a view of the Astronomical clock. We will be dressed warm and ready to go exploring. I love iit when I toured Prague in June and again in Oct of 2022

Generally, i don't care about the others' opinion, someone told me he didn't like Kutná Hora and it's boring and not worthy, BUT I would say I LOVED THE TRIP THERE SO MUCH, I have my own perspective (specifically because I'm an architect). Yet I've not been in Staré město Prahy, but I'm pretty sure I'll love it too.

I've been there a couple of times and I'm going to visit again next year. The astronomical clock is amazing! Even if it was built yesterday it would still be superb, the mechanism and what it shows (the placement of the sun, moon, day, night etc.) is beautiful. Also, your channel is great!

It's a beautiful clock with alot of history. Every time I visit Prague, I do like to visit it once.
