“In 720p, censored and constantly interrupted by” An actual ad played at that moment. What a talent

"Millenials and Gen Z are ruining cable!!!" No I think cable is ruining cable.

masked singer is based off a korean show which is designed to highlight great vocalists in unappreciated/unpopular kpop groups which makes the format make a lot more sense rather than just random celebrities.

As a funeral director, i often have to help people identify what assets/liabilities people need to wrap up soon after someone dies. Something i learned pretty recently is that most cable companies want an official copy of someone’s death certificate before they allow you to cancel their cable subscription.
  • So, I'm in a screenwriting class, and the professor used to write freelance for star trek, and he says that if you compare your idea to something else, a producer is more likely to pick it up, but you have to specify what makes it different from the original show, too. So what I'm getting at is "American idol, but they're in costumes the whole time" is actually something a producer would eat up.

“When I was a teenager I would come home almost everyday” Sometimes he didn’t come home.
  • The way companies play the victim for being F O R C E D to extort their own customers is absolutely hysterical in a dystopian way 💀
  • as a lover of criminal minds, the fake episode drew made easily could be in any of the seasons and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference

the masked singer is actually a reboot of “the king of masked singer”, a korean singing competition. in the korean version, the contestants can be really famous or pretty unpopular. the point of the show is to display that popularity ≠ quality. the american version kinda bastardized the concept imo

If anyone’s curious, the Disney XD show where they basically just play YouTube clips is called Player Select, very good for small kids who want to watch YouTube but their parents won’t let them because it’s too inappropriate. The show features censoring, ridiculous special effects, the same clips in almost every episode, SO MUCH FUCKIG FORTNITE, the clips are usually less than 5 minutes for each youtuber and you have no idea what happens in the end of the video, and ads every 3 minutes. :)

A crime show series must have: A recurring serial killer that torments the main characters An episode where MC gets kidnapped An episode where MC gets shot Christmas special! Santa dies. An episode where MC shoots and kills a bad guy and feels really awful and sad or smt An episode where MC gets framed A cryptid episode where it looks like someone was murdered by Bigfoot, a yeti, wendigo, werewolf, etc episode where a character/a character’s family member is in a hostage situation (usually bank robbery) bdsm :x trauma so much trauma As someone who used to binge crime shows with my mother, I’m kind of an expert.
  • The idea of Ken Jeong telling really bad jokes on a set with no audience members and contestants standing around in awkward silence is hilarious to me.

The ad after he said “they’re constantly interrupted by commercials” was the best place to put an ad

I cannot explain the feeling I got while Drew was listing the “cops that catch bad guys” show and I knew every single one of them lol

This is like a masterclass in why monopolies ruin consumers.
  • “The way a movie should be watched... in 720p, censored, and constantly interrupted by advertisements.” (Cuts to ad). Nicely done, Drew.
  • @GuillotineGunza
They should make a singing competition where you can’t hear the sad backstory of the singer before making your decision
  • Every time he does the Haley Joel Osment bit and he’s just like “alright, why not? I’ll go with you guys” I crack up.
