Headstock Repair: After a previous repair, we expertly reglued the headstock to ensure a strong and durable bond. To reinforce the repair, we crafted maple reinforcements with slots using our CNC machine, providing added strength and stability.
Precision Restoration: With the structural repairs complete, we meticulously refinished the guitar in a stunning sunburst pattern using nitrocellulose lacquer. Our skilled craftsmen at JDKustom ensured that every detail of the finish was perfected to match the guitar's original aesthetic.
Buffing and Final Setup: Once the finish had cured, we carefully buffed the guitar to a mirror-like shine, bringing out the depth and beauty of the sunburst finish. Finally, we performed a thorough setup to ensure the guitar played flawlessly and was ready to hit the stage.

I saw the thumbnail and thought the wooden keys you inserted would be the visible fix, almost Frankenstein like, which still would have looked cool imo. Wasn’t expecting the finished product to look as if nothing ever happened 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾

I'd like to see that neck after a year or two when the different materials have had chance to expand and contract. I hope that the guitar maintains its history of having been repaired. Great job, though.

I had a banjo which got its headstock repaired, after two years it broke again. The luthier certainty didn't have the equipment and skills like you guys do.

Looks nice! But will it look the same after a year of full string tension? I saw another video of a similar repair, where the finish started to crack around the dowels after a while... I think they used carbon fiber?

Shouldn’t require splines if there is a significant gluing area. This repair did not require splines.
