Love the Brazilian straight-grain, and the best axes I ever played were made with it. Too bad that one's spoken for, but I surely couldn't afford it, if it weren't. I too, am leaning towards smaller bodies in old age, but have yet to hear one speak as a dread. Not expecting the volume, but the tone, yes. I will find it - or die trying... :)
