Con Mozart non si può ascoltare che capolavori. Questo Quartetto per flauto, violino , viola e violoncello è un dialogo fra strumenti che si parlano e si rispondono, con una sonorità solare, come tutta la musica di Mozart che , nell'apparente semplicità, raggiunge la perfezione armonica e contrappuntistica. Linea verticale perfetta, che però non deve farci dimenticare la linea orizzontale della melodia piacevole in tutti i movimenti, non privi di variazioni , non facili, soprattutto per il flauto. Dolce e romantico il secondo movimento , con richiami bucolici , tipici del flauto , strumento ,ab antiquo , dei pastori.( Virgilio , rivolto e Titiro ...meditaris avena).
